A Mitchell Pioneer Passes Away.
Mr. Peter Amundson, one of the pioneers of Mitchell county passed away last night at the advanced age of nearly eighty-one years. Deceased came here with the Scandanavian colony which first settled in this part of the country in 1853 and has lived here continually since that time. He leaves two daughters and a large number of grand children, besides a large circle of acquaintances, to mourn his death.
