J. A. Cutting was called to Riceville the first of the week on account of the death there of Mrs. Cutting’s mother, Mrs. N. Gooder, on Monday morning, after a long illness from a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Gooder is reported as being ill, threatened with an attack of lung fever.
