OSAGE, IOWA - Kurt O. Elliott, age 59, of Osage, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his home.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Osage American Legion Post 278, 504 Main Street in Osage. Visitation with the body present, will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Kurt O. Elliott, age 59, of Osage, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his home.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Osage American Legion Post 278, 504 Main Street in Osage. Visitation with the body present, will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Kurt was born September 15, 1959, the son of Max and Kathryn “Kay” (Pelleymounter) Elliott. He attended school in Osage and graduated from Osage High School in 1977. Kurt worked at O’Connor’s Standard Station, as a jailer with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office and was currently the maintenance supervisor at the Faith Lutheran Home.

He enjoyed motorcycling, socializing with friends, helping others, and working on small engines, mopeds, lawnmowers and snowblowers in his garage.

Kurt is survived by his daughter, Manessa Elliott of Charles City and her children, Desirae Davis and Amantae Elliott; two sisters, Marcia Eggers of Polk City and Mary Jo Deprey of Cedar Rapids.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Steve Eggers.
