Patricia Ann Johanns, age 80, of Osage, peacefully passed away Friday, March 23, 2018, at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage surrounded by her loving family.

Cremation has taken place.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. A Celebration of Life and Inurnment will be held in July 2018, in New Haven.

Patricia was born June 6, 1937, in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Alpha and Mary (Smith) Alexander. She attended school in Osage and graduated in 1955. Patricia then attended Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids and graduated with a degree in education. She was united in marriage to Clement Johanns on July 9, 1960, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Patricia touched the lives of all who knew her with her positive spirit, kind smile and gentle sense of humor. She will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.

Patricia is survived by her husband, of 57 years Clement; her children, Regis, Patrick, Mary, Jeanne, Thomas, Theodore, Christopher, Steven, Terrence, Timothy, Michael and Martin; her cherished grandchildren; brothers, Joseph and Kevin Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her family asked, that in lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
