Jessie Mary Fluhrer, age 81, of Mitchell, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Cremation has taken place.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell with Pastor David A. Werges officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday July 1, 2018, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Jessie was born March 31, 1937, in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Francis (Caswell) Gilbert. She attended school in Yorkville, Illinois. Jessie was united in marriage to Leon Nobles in September 1961. Leon died in 1996.

Jessie was united in marriage to Larry Fluhrer on May 1, 2003. They made their home in Mitchell. She and Larry owned and operated The North Forty convenience and bait store in Mitchell. Larry died in 2007.

Jessie enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and crocheting. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends at The North Forty

Jessie is survived by her children, Sandy (Randy) Norby of Osage, David Yates of Osage and Lee Nobles of Louisiana; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Sally (Joe) Mulay of Irmo, South Carolina and Diana (Ed) Leifheit of Plattville, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Leon and Larry; five sisters and two brothers.
