Died: June 07, 2018

Vivian A. Hogan, age 67, of Osage, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Cremation has taken place.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at V.F.W Post 7290, 3693 N. Hwy 218 in Osage with Rev. Charlie West officiating. Inurnment will be at the Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City. Following the service there will be a time of food and fellowship at the V.F.W.

Vivian was born October 29, 1950, in Mason City, the daughter of Harold and Bertha (Cory) Schaer. She was a member of Victory in Christ Church. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her children, sewing, carving, camping, and helping people.

Vivian is survived by her children, Tina Stromley of Osage, Chad (Amy) Olson of Osage,and Heidi Perrin of Osage;eight grandchildren, Kyle (Megan) Wrage, Danielle Riha, Cortney, Douglas, Joslyn and Dallas Perrin, Brittany and Scott Olson; six great-grandchildren, Beau, Bentley, Kendahl, Kinsley and Krelee Wrage, Annabella Riha; a brother, Donald (Sharon) Schaer of Kensett; two sisters, Leota Sears of Mason City, and Betty Hoffman of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott A. Olson; her parents; two husbands, Everett C. Brown and Darrell L. Olson; two brothers, Harold and John Schaer; and brother-in-law, John Sears.
