Mrs. Annie Fausett was born April 18, 1879. Her early life was spent on a farm west from Carpenter. She was baptized in the Norwegian Lutheran church at Deer Creek, at which place she was also confirmed in 1894.

September 16, 1900, she was married to Mr. Olaf Fausett and their union was blessed with three children; one daughter preceding her mother in death.

In the fall of 1908, Mrs. Fausett's health began failing and they went to Phoenix, Arizona, to seek a warmer climate. She returned home in the spring as her health continued to fail. July 30, death came to release her from her sufferings and she answered to the roll call above. The deceased leaves to mourn her departure a husband, two children, father, mother, two sisters and four brothers. Her remains were laid to rest in the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery at St. Ansgar.

Mr. Andy Fausett, husband of Mrs. Annie Fausett and two children, Walter and Laura, Henry Severson, a brother of the departed and Nora Fausett, and Josie Christianson arrived here from Enderlin, N.D. Saturday so as to be present at Mrs. Fausett's funeral which took place Sunday afternoon.
