Biography--

Bonnie L. Le Fevre, 83, of Guttenberg, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died at the Guttenberg Care Center on Saturday, July 23, 2016.

Bonnie was born April 23, 1933 in Bailey, Iowa, daughter of Villo E. and Elizabeth Webber Offen. She graduated from high school in Riceville, Iowa, in 1952 and attended Gates Business College in Waterloo.

She married Donald W. Le Fevre on November 21, 1958 in Waterloo. He died May 5, 2005.

Bonnie was an accountant for Shirey's Concrete from 1970‑1984 and secretary at River Hills School from 1984‑1989.

She had enjoyed travelling, playing cards dancing and attending wrestling matches with her husband, Don. After his death, Bonnie continued leading an active life, visiting with everyone, putting puzzles together, reading, watching television soaps, writing and talking with her sister on the telephone.

She is survived by her son, Garth Le Fevre of Waterloo; three grandsons: Andy Blandford, Michael Billingsley, and Mark Billingsley; a sister, Dorothy (James) Schwab of Cedar Falls; and sister‑in‑law, Sandy Offen of McIntire, Iowa.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Donette Bailey; granddaughter, Seanalee Bailey; brothers, Villo Offen, Jr. and Kenny Adams; and sister, Nancy Meyer.
