Mrs. Bert Hobkirk Funeral Held January 29

Funeral services for Mrs. Bert (Lillian) Hobkirk, 87, of Lyle, who died Tuesday, January 25, 1971, at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center, were held Friday, January 29 at Worlein's Funeral Home in Austin.

Lillian Wyborny, the daughter of Joseph and Nancy (Williams) Wyborny, was born near Lyle on May 19, 1883.

On June 10, 1908 she was married to Bert Hobkirk at Mona. They farmed near Lyle until they retired to Lyle in 1957.

She was the last member of her family of 11.

The only survivors are nieces and nephews from this area, including Charles Berg, Lyle, and Mrs. Lester Aldahl of Austin.

Interment was in Woodbury cemetery.
