Obituary--

Daniel Joseph "Dan" Schroetter, age 18, of Lime Springs, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at home in Lime Springs, Iowa.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lime Springs, Iowa with Pastor Maureen Hagan officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery in Riceville, IA. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Thursday. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home 404 North Elm Street in Cresco, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel was born on January 1, 1995 in Cresco, Iowa, to Steve Schroetter and Brenda Roethler. He was currently employed at Featherlite in Cresco.

Daniel enjoyed golfing with his Dad, tossing a football with his brothers, hanging out with friends, working in the field, anything John Deere, and fishing with anyone who was able to go. He especially enjoyed bow hunting in a peaceful woods.

His parents, two brothers, Joshua and Jacob, maternal and paternal grandmothers, Lavonne Klein and Doris Schroetter, step grandfather, Wayne Klein, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles survive Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Donald Roethler and Earl Schroetter, half brother, Brandon Pearson, his uncles, Bill Turner, Bruce Roethler, Mike Hall, and Denny Baugh.

His family and friends will sadly miss Daniel.
