Arthur John Bauman – July 8, 1901 – April 20, 1950

Osage – Arthur Bauman, 48, died Thursday at his home in Osage, of diabetes that afternoon.
Mr. Bauman was born at Otisco, Minnesota, in July 1901, to Charles and Bertha Bauman. He spent his boyhood there and on February 16, 1926, he married Florence Gerbig of Stacyville.

They lived on farms near Waseca, Minnesota, north of Stacyville, and Lanesboro, Minnesota, prior to coming to Osage in 1942. Because of ill health he went into a diabetic coma Wednesday. He was to have entered the University Hospital Thursday, when death occurred.

He leaves his wife, Osage; parents at Waseca, Minnesota; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Garden, Osage; two sons, John and Benjamin, Osage; two grandchildren; three brothers, Henry, George and Clarence, all of Waseca; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Anderson and Mrs. John Dierks, both of Waseca, and Mrs. Elon Tollin Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. One sister preceded him in death.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Champion Funeral Home.
