GEORGE BENSON DIES AT LOS ANGELES, CAL. DECEMBER 25

Word was received here Thursday night that George Benson had died at his home in Los Angeles, Calif., on Christmas Day following a stroke on Wednesday, December 24. Funeral services were conducted Sunday. December 28. Rev. Galbreth officiating. The body was laid to rest temporarily in the Rosedale Receiving Vault until the sister, Mary, decides as the permanent resting place.

Mr. Benson was born March 3, 1872 and lived practically all his life at St. Ansgar.

Several former St. Ansgar residents were present for the service.
