Katherine married Brede Wamstad on June 29, 1905 at the First Lutheran Church at Mitchell, Worth, Iowa.
The couple had one daughter, Constance Ingeborg Wamstad.

1910: Brede Olsen Wamstad 32, Inga Katherine Rone Wamstad 27, Constance Wamstad 1, Carl Oscar Wamstad 30.1915: Mrs Brede Wamstad age 32.

Inga Katherine Wamstad died on April 28, 1952 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
Obituary from the Mitchell County Weekly Press-News - June 1, 1952:
"Final Rites for Mrs. B. Wamstad Will Be Today"Funeral services for Mrs. Brede Wamstad, 69, who died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital following a cerebral hemorrhage, will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 1 o'clock at the Champion funeral home and 2 o'clock at Rock Creek Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wamstad was born in Northwood on March 21, 1883, to Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Rone and spent her girlhood there. On June 29, 1905, she was married to Brede Wamstad of Osage. They lived in Osage for a short time and then moved to the Wamstad farm west of Osage, where they had since lived.
The Wamstads had spent the winter in Florida and returned home only a few weeks ago.Survivors include her husband, a former member of the state legislature; a daughter, Mrs. C.W. Bucknam of Omaha, Nebraska; three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Rue and Mrs. Oliver Knutson of Northwood, and Mrs. Elinor Racker of Waverly; a brother, Carl Rone of Northwood; and four grandchildren.
