Obituary:

Viola Jeanette Reddel was born May 8, 1939 at Corwith, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Luella (Brachmann) Brown. On August 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to Eldon Reddel at Pomeroy, Iowa. To this union six children were born: Deb Ferch, Darrel Reddel, Donna May, Diane Ver Hoef, Duane Reddel and Dean Reddel.

Viola and family moved to the Riceville area March of 1964. Viola enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include her husband Eldon, her children Deb Ferch and her friend Rolondo of Forest City, Iowa, Darrel (Jackie) Reddel of Decorah, Iowa, Donna (Dann) May of Mason City, Iowa, Diane (Randy) Ver Hoef of Garner, Iowa, Duane (Geraldine) Reddel and Dean Reddel of Riceville, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 12 step grandchildren; two brothers Charles (Ilene) Brown of Mason City, Iowa, and Dan (Pearl) Brown of Webster City, Iowa, and one sister Hazel Lenz of Round Rock, TexasX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Luella Brown.

Visitation:
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa.

Service:
2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riceville, Iowa.

Cemetery:
St. Peter's Cemetery, rural Riceville.
