Nellie Elizabeth Pepperling was born September 26, 1891, at either Franklin or Hardin County, Iowa, to Joseph Joe Pepperling and Flora E. Hiveley.

Found in the 1900 - 1910 censuses living with her parents at Hardin, Hardin, Iowa:
1900: Joseph Pepperling 34, Laurie Pepperling 30, Nellie Pepperling 8, Bessie Pepperling 6, Samuel Hiveley 76.

1910: Joe Pepperling 48, Flora Pepperling 40, Nellie Pepperling 20[21], Bessie Pepperling 18.

Found in the 1915 census at Waterloo, Black Hawk, Iowa: Nellie Pepperling age 23.

Also found in the 1915 census at Iowa Falls, Hardin, Iowa: Nellie Pepperling age 22.

Nellie married Ingwald Theodore Iverson on March 16, 1918.

The couple had three children:
Curtis L Iverson (1916 - 1921);
William Paul Iverson (1920 - 1922) and
Janice Mae Iverson (1926 - 1931).

Found in the 1930 census living at Madison, Dane, Wisconsin: Ingwald T Iverson 41, Nellie Iverson 38, Janice Iverson 3 yrs 7 mos.

Found in the 1940 census at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: Ingwald T Iverson 50, Willie E Iverson 48, Marie Salz 20.

Nellie worked at the Osage Public Library.

Nellie E Iverson died in August 1963 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
