Stacyville, Iowa — Ralph Green, 35, died suddenly at his home in Stacyville Wednesday. He had been in failing health a few months and had been at Excelsior Springs, Missouri, until recently, when he returned home and engaged in buying stock with his partner and helper.

He had been out buying Tuesday. He was an independent buyer, feeding and shipping to various packing plants. For several years he was joint buyer with his father, Art Green, who died a year ago.

Born in Stacyville, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Green, and graduated from Visitation School, he married Monica Hoffmeister.

He leaves his wife; two daughters, Terese and Patricia; one brother, Leon Green, lives at Mason City.
