Iver Bertinius Olsen was born May 15, 1894 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa to Lars Iver Syse Olsen and Anna Regina Larson.

He was baptized on June 24, 1894 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Iver Torblaa; Iver Nelsen and Olive Nelson.

Iver died March 26, 1896 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
