BORN IN RICEVILLE, IOWA

WATERLOO, IOWA - Fay Horstman, 95, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born August 26, 1918, in Riceville, Iowa, the daughter of Willie and Marian Tuttle. She married John R. Horstman on June 4, 1940; he died Feb. 11, 1985.

Fay was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (James) Juhl of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, and Judith (Dennis) Schmidt of Waterloo; two sons, Robert (Kathy) of Shell Knob, Missouri, and Kevin (Dana) of Ocala, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenny Tuttle of Floyd.

Preceded in death by a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Henry, Grant and Kieth; and two sisters, her twin, Faith, and Ila.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenhill Baptist Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.

Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
