Nels Paul Naig was born February 23, 1911, at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa to Peter Paulson Naig and Bertina Jennie Nelson, the second of their seven children.

Found in the 1920 - 1925 censuses living at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: 1920: Peter Naig 45, Lena Naig 35, Myrtle Naig 10, Nels Naig 8, Beatrice Naig 6, Cleof Naig 5, Lloyd Naig 3.

1925: P P Narg 52, Tena Narg 42, Myrta Narg 16, Nelo Narg 14, Beatrice Narg 12, Clerf Narg 10, Lloyd Narg 7, Josef Narg 5, Dorothy Narg 2.

Nels married Beryl LaMaster (b 1911 Oklahoma, d 1987). They had a daughter, Greta Lou (b April 13, 1930 Iowa, d March 30, 2004 Arizona).

Found in the 1930 census living in Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: Nels P Naig 19, Beyrl E Naig 18.

Nels and Beryl divorced. He married Margaret Arlene Sewright (b November 8, 1905 Orchard, Iowa, d March 4, 1980 Osage, Iowa) on September 14, 1936 Iowa.

The couple had 2 sons: Paul Robert (b December 21, 1938 Osage, Iowa, d August 21, 2004 same) and John Arthur (still living).

Found in the 1940 census living at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: Nelo P Naig 29, Marguet A Naig 34, Paul Robert Naig 1.

Nels P Naig died June 15, 1979 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
