Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 1983, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, for Mrs. Irwin (Clara) Evenson, who died suddenly at her home on Monday, March 7, 1983.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Riceville. Champion Funeal Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clara Evenson

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 10, 1983, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for Clara Evenson, age 73, who died in her home on Monday, March 7, 1983. Rev. J. Nesheim officiated at the service with burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville. C. R. Champion and Sons were in charge of the arrangements.

Clara Evenson was born on August 14, 1910, the daughter of Fred and Mattie Fesenmeyer. She was raised west of Riceville and attended the Riceville schools.

She married Erwin Evenson on September 8, 1937 in Osage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin, and one infant son.

She is survived by one son, Robert, of Osage; six grandchildren: Ron, Michelle and Ranae of Osage, Kathy of Iowa City, Mrs. Corey Stull (Kim) of Osage and Kurt McInroy of Osage, and one sister, Irma Leivers of Chico, California.
