Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 1983, at the champion Funeral Home, for Edward Pell, 66, of rural Osage, who died on Saturday, February 12, 1983, at mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa. Burial will be in the Bohemian Cemetery, Myrtle, Minnesota. Champion Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.

Edward was born on July 4, 1916, the son of Joseph and Mary Skala Pell of Glenville, Minnesota.

Helen Shupe and Edward Pell were united in marriage on October 24, 1944, in Osage, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by three brothers: Frank, Ignes and Alben; and by two sisters, Libby Lukes and Agnus Copp.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Chester (Pat) Williams, Ulysses, Kansas; two step-daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Ardith) Heins, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Harry (Mary) Smith, Waterloo; a son, Richard, Manly; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Dale (Anna) Stanton, Glenville, Minnesota.
