Nellie Betts, a 71 year-old Riceville woman, died Tuesday at the Howard County Hospital in Cresco. Services for Mrs. Betts were held on Thursday, January 13, 1983, at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, with Rev. H. Hawf officiating and burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

She is survived by one son, Donald Collins of Buffalo, Minnesota, George Betts of Osage and Phillip of Waterloo; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Mary Ann) Vote of Riceville; one step-daughter, Orla Mae Potter of Osage; 18 step grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl Eiffler of Riceville and Mabel Volkart of Charles City.
