Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 1983 at United Church of Christ in Osage for a former Osage resident Janet R. Coonradt, 83, who died Friday, December 31, 1982, at a Mountain View, Arkansas, hospital. The Rev. James S. Pittman of the United Methodist Church officiated at the service. Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery, Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Janet had lived in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, for the past year. She and her husband Ora, had farmed for many years in the Osage, St. Ansgar and Charles City areas. She moved to Illinois in 1977 and later to Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ora and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rowland formerly of St. Ansgar.

Survivors include two sons, Rowland Coonradt of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, and Harold Coonradt of Penrose, Colorado; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four sisters: Katherine and Bessie Noble of Austin, Minnesota; Mrs. Everett (Winifred) De Moss of Lake Andes, South Dakota, and Eva Hugh of Roy, Wash.
