Henry William Pagel was born January 11, 1884 in Worth county, Iowa. He died on January 7, 1973 at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, on January 9, 1973, with Rev. Norman Betke officiating.

Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery south of St. Ansgar.

Pall Bearers were Norman: Pahl, Howard Pahl, Jerry Rachut, Jerry Hackbart, James Laftaas and Adrian Crooks.
