Found in the 1900 census living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Ole Lavorson 46, Barbra S Lavorson 48, Othilda L Lavorson 19, Thomas O Lavorson 16, Emmet M Lavorson 13, Oscar B Lavorson 11, Olia Lavorson 80.

Found in the 1905 census at Nora Springs, Floyd, Iowa.

Found in the 1910 census at Pierre, Hughes, South Dakota: Oscar Knudsen Haugen 38, Helen Eliason Haugen 33, Gertrude Grace Haugen 6, Kenneth C Haugen 4, Emmett Myron Levorsen 23, Oscar Levorsen 21, Bert Gunderson 25.

Emmet married Verna Elizabeth French (b 1895, d November 25, 1982) on April 4, 1917 at Iowa. The couple had 2 children: a stillborn son and a daughter. ​
