Lavern William Wilde was born on April 1, 1917, in Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa.

He died on July 17, 1993, at Osage, Mitchell county, Iowa.

Private funeral services were held on July 21, 1993 at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar, with Rev. Rose Marie Lewis officiating.

Music was "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."

Interment was in the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Iowa.

Pall bearers were: Wayne Fredericks, Wayne Pike, Kenneth Swanson, Ronnie Beyer, Jeff Schlobohm and Larry Beyer.
