Found in the 1930 census at West Mitchell, Mitchell, Iowa: Carl O Lane 56, Julia M Lane 46, Ilene C Lane 12.

Eilene married Charles Olaf Nikolai Peterson on December 25, 1937 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

The couple had two daughters.

Eilene died March 20, 1991 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
