Jean Silver

Jean J. Silver, age 80, of Osage, Iowa, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Faith Home in Osage.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Monsignor John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Church prior to the service.

Jean was born January 18, 1934, in Afton Township, Howard County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Julia (Dunn) Silver. She was employed at Super Valu Grocery and Fox River Mills, both in Osage. Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Jean has no immediate survivors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, John “Joe” Silver.
