OSAGE, IOWA - Services for Smith Shoars, 79, who died Saturday in a hospital in Austin, Minnesota, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home; burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; five daughters: Mrs. Wayne Duenow of Fulton, Missouri, Mrs. Jack Wineberg of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mrs. Forrest Petersen of Tripoli, and Mrs. Gervis Bohneman and Mrs. Don Dvorak, both of Waterloo, a son, Dean of Grafton; a grandson, Larry Newhose of Peoria, Illinois, a sister, Mrs. Thomas Beck of Waterloo; 31 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
