Omer Karl Klemesrud was born and died on April 11, 1891 at Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Harald Knudsen Klemesrud and Ingeborg Severine Maakestad, the first of their ten children.

Omer is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
