Livius Ingvald Klemesrud was born July 20, 1894 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Herman Knudsen Klemesrud and Lise Maria Dynna, the second of their ten children.

Baptized on August 26, 1894 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Harald Klemesrud; Hans Eriksen and Oline Nubson.

Found in the 1900 census living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Herman K Klemesand 32, Lizzie M Klemesand 27, Livius I Klemesand 5, Alice K Klemesand 3, Helen L Klemesand 1.

Livius died November 24, 1900 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
