Lars Klemesrud born March 15, 1907 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Herman Knudsen Klemesrud and Lise Maria Dynna, the eighth of their ten children.

Lars was baptized on March 21, 1907 either at home or at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His baptismal sponsors were: Mrs. Margrete Finsand and Andrea Wamstad.

He died March 23, 1907 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the RCLC Cemetery, Meroa, Iowa.
