OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. John Ullevig, 64, died Sunday morning, at her Osage home, having been bedridden for two years and ill for many years. Funeral services are pending the arrival of her only daughter, Mrs. M. B. McLeod, who with her husband, Capt. M. G. McLeod and children, are en route from their Alaskan base to San Antonia, Texas. The body is at the Champion Funeral Home.

Born Hazelle Mary Cheney, to Charles and Mary Cheney, on a farm south of New Haven, July 23, 1888. She attended St. Mary's school at New Haven; married September 3, 1913, to John Ullevig; lived at Ladysmith, Wisconsin, then at Grafton, North Dakota, coming to Osage, in 1916, where have since lived with the exception of a four year period at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. William Gilles of New Haven.

Preceding her in death were an infant son and her parents.
