Armella "Mell" Gomez died peacefully, Oct. 30, 2013, at the age of 92.
"Mell", a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister is survived by her daughters, Katherine Gomez and Joanne Robertson of Santa Rosa, CA and Gloria Marik of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Julia and Adam Robertson, Jennifer Sellers and her husband Thomas Sellers, Christopher Marik and Andrew Gomez; her sisters Dorothy Pelleymounter, Mildred Rogers, Alice Kundo and Mary McIntyre; her brothers Vincent, Arnold, Roman and James Weber; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Angelo Gomez, who died on April 9, 2004.
She was dearly loved by her family and friends for her beautiful, generous and positive spirit, her quick sense of humor and the kindness she showed them all of her life.
A family committal service was held on Friday Nov. 8, 2013 at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial mass and celebration of life service, to be held Nov. 23, 1 p.m., at St. Eugene's Cathedral, 2323 Montgomery Dr. Santa Rosa, CA.

She married Angelo R Gomez on August 10, 1946 in Los Angeles, California.
