OSAGE, IOWA - Dr. Robert Douglas Loften Jr., 46, of Osage, died Tuesday, September 27, 1994, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, of an apparent heart attack.

Survivors include his wife, Mary C. of Osage; a daughter, Kelly Loften of Osage; a son, Rob of Osage; his mother, Mary R. Loften of Osage; two brothers, Dr. Thomas G. Loften of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Dr. James R. Loften of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D., and a sister, Sheila Fitzgerald.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Osage, with burial in Osage Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Dr. Loften was a veterinarian.
