Ronald Edwin Jellum was born August 27, 1945 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa to Edwin Glen Jellum and Thelma Marie Norby, one of their two children and their only son.

Ronald was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa on October 7, 1945. His baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Clifford Larson and Loras Mae Jellum (his sister). Ronald graduated from Osage High School and married and farmed in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa. The couple had 2 daughters.

Ronald Jellum died December 27, 1994 at Rochester, Olmsted, Minnesota and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
