EDWARD BRUMM, 55

Funeral services for a former resident of the Stacyville area, Edward Brumm, 55, who died on September 15, 1971, at a hospital in Crestline, California, were held Saturday at Crestline. The cause of his death was a heart attack.

Edward Peter Brumm was born at Stacyville on February 21, 1916, the son of Joseph and Sophia Halbach Brumm. He grew to manhood there and was graduated from Visitation school.

He entered the army during World War II, seeing duty in Germany.

Agnes Neis and Edward Brumm were married while he was in the service, and following his discharge they made their home in California. They had recently purchased a resort there. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic church.

Surviving are his wife, Agnes; two daughters, Gail and Lori; two sons, Randy and Jody, all of Crestline; five brothers: Herbert and Othmer of Stacyville, Albert of Rosemount, Minnesota, Ralph and Clarence of Osage; four sisters: Mrs. Gilbert Weber (Martha) of Stacyville, Mrs. Clyde Lindberg (Genevieve) of Rochester, Mrs. Joe Kleespies (Mary Ann) of Walla Walla, Washington, and Mrs. Walter Dwarschak (Joan) of Champaign, Illinois.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
