OF RICEVILLE DIED

Funeral services for Roger Calahan, 57, were held last Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Riceville. Mr. Calahan died December 7, 1971.

Rev. J. Bohr, church pastor, was in charge of the rites, and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery.

James Roger Calahan was born on October 8, 1914, near Saratoga, Iowa, the son of Henry and Anna Calahan. He attended the schools in that area.

Surviving are his wife, the former Betty Hill; two sons, Craig and Michael, at home; one sister, Mrs. Alice Armstrong of Riceville.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Roland.
