Rites Monday for Riceville child

Funeral services will be held Monday for Conley James Grupp, 13, a former Riceville child, who died Saturday after being struck by a hit- and-run driver in Guadalajara, Mexico, where the Grupp family resides. The rites will be at 4 p.m., at the Riceville United Methodist church and burial will be at Riceville.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Marcia Grupp; one sister; two grandmothers, Mrs. Minne Grupp of Mason City and Mrs. James Conley of Yankton, South Dakota.

His father, Stanley Grupp preceded him in death.
