MRS. AMY PITZEN, 86

Funeral services were held at Visitation Catholic Church, Monday, for Mrs. Amy Pitzen, 86, with the Rec. J. Griffin officiating. Mrs. Pitzen died on May 27th in Janesville, Wisconsin, where she had lived for the past 35 years, making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alice Pospeschil during the last eight years.

Amy Pitzen (Kinney) was born in Winthrop, Iowa on May 17, 1885 and moved to Stacyville with her parents in 1910. She was married to the late William Pitzen on September 12, 1911 and resided here until 1935 when she moved to Janesville, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1931, three brothers: George, Joe and William Kinney, and by a sister, Mrs. Neil Arthur.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Reynolds of Milwaukee and Mrs. Alice Pospechil of Janesville, one son-in-law, James W. Reynolds, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
