DIED AT HAMPTON

Funeral services for an Osage resident, Elmer A. Wright, 82, were held here Tuesday. Mr. Wright died Saturday at a nursing home in Hampton where he had been a resident for the past two years.

Rev. R. L. Smith, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Osage was in charge of the services at the Champion Funeral Home, and burial was in the Osage cemetery.

William [SIC] Augustus Wright was born on November 10, 1888, in Osage, Iowa, the son of William Parker and Lena Jensen Wright. He remained in the Osage area all of his life until moving to the nursing home.

Norma J. Wheeler and Elmer Wright were married on December 7, 1924.

He is survived by his wife, Norma, of Osage; one son, Eugene, of Osage; three daughters: Mrs. Roger Anderson (Marian) of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Mrs. Herbert Heimer (Jeanette) of Minneapolis, Mrs. Bernard Hoff (Norma) of Hampton; four brothers: George of Spring Valley, Minnesota, Alphonso of Osage, Walter of Austin, Theodore of Lamont; and 13 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, one sister and a grandson.
