OF WATERLOO DIED

Funeral services for a former St. Ansgar man, Horace Lang, 68, were held on Friday in Waterloo, Iowa. Mr. Lang died on Thursday morning at his home, following a heart attack. Burial was there.

Horace Roosevelt Lang was born in St. Ansgar, Iowa, on July 10, 1903, the son of John and Cora Burroughs Lang.

Mabel Lonergan and Horace Lang were married on August 24, 1930. He was employed for 20 years by the Waterloo water department as department head, retiring two years ago. Prior to this he was with the Waterloo police department for six years.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel; one daughter, Mrs. Gene Terry (Nancy Ann); one son, Jerry Lang; and one brother, Dayton Lang, all of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.
