FUNERAL HELD FOR
MRS. EDDIE FOSSEYFuneral Services were held Monday for Mrs. Eddie Fossey, 75, of near Lyle, who died Thursday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Rev. M. Johnson, pastor, was in charge of the services at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle, and burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery there.
Ella Haugen was born on June 30, 1895, at Kasson, Minnesota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Knut Haugen.
She was married to Eddie Fossey on November 28, 1915. They had lived in the Lyle vicinity all of their married life.
Surviving are her husband, Eddie; one daughter, Mrs. Albin Perau (Elizabeth) of St. Ansgar; one son, Donald Fossey of Watertown, South Dakota; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Haugen of Mona; and four sisters: Mrs. Esther Fossey of St. Ansgar, Hilma Haugen of Rochester, Josephine Haugen of Spokane, Washington, and Mrs. Allert Olson (Rikka) of Osage.

NOTES:
Ella died April 8, 1971.She is buried in Pleasant Hill cemetery south of Mona, Iowa, next to her husband, Eddie.
Her father was Knute E. Haugen, and her mother was Berte Elise Trom.
