Word has been received by relatives here that Donald Borchardt, 55, died at Sacramento, California. Military services were held by the U.S. Navy there, with burial there.
He is survived by four sisters: Lydia and Alma of California, Erma of Madison, Wisconsin, and Nora of Waterloo; two brothers, Ervin of California and Walter of St. Ansgar, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hattie Ruehlow Borchardt, and a sister, Ruth.
