Dead - We mentioned in our last issue the fact that one of our citizens, William Button, was very sick. Before that item was read by many, death had gathered him home. He died last Thursday about one o'clock, P.M., and was buried on Friday. The funeral sermon was delivered at the Congregational Church.

The Masonic fraternity took charge of the ceremonies, and he was deposited in his grave according to the usages and customs of that ancient Order.

Mr. Button was a quiet citizen, loved and respected by all who knew him, and in his death the Universalist Society of this city has lost a worthy member, and society a good citizen.

He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Huntingdon, who have the earnest sympathy of this entire community in their great bereavement.
