Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 7, 1987, at Immaculate conception Catholic Church, Riceville, Iowa, for Bernard Quinn, 56, of Riceville. Father J. Carpender officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Riceville. Mr. Quinn died on Friday, April 3, 1987 at the Mitchell County hospital, Osage, Iowa.

He was born on April 10, 1930, In McIntire, Iowa, to Joseph and Bertha Tennyson Quinn. He married Irene Morse on November 17, 1951 at Waterloo, Iowa. They were parents of one son, Dan. Mr. Quinn was employed as State Auditor in Mason City.

He is survived by his wife, Irene of Riceville; on son, Dan of Santa Cruz, Calif., a grandson, Chad; and two sisters, Mrs. Garland (Marcella) Isaacs of Osage and Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Fraser of Cresco, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Vincent.
