Graveside committal services were held on Thursday, July 9, 1987, at the Osage Cemetery for Charles Twomey, 90, of Hot Springs, South Dakota, and formerly of Osage, Iowa. He died on Monday, July 6, 1987, at a Hot Springs, South Dakota, hospital.

From 1925 to 1931, Mr. Twomey was owner of the Osage newspaper known as the Osage News.

Rev. J. Gilbert officiated. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine, Hot Springs, South Dakota; and two sons, Charles L. of Denver, Colorado and West of Aurora, Colorado.
