Harper Grace Putz

Harper Grace Putz, age 21 months, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Harper Grace was born on March 13, 2011, to Lance and Rachel (Rosenberg) Putz in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was baptized at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, Iowa. Harper was diagnosed with a rare, metabolic disorder, Molybdenum Cofactor Deficiency, at 3 months. Harper was full of beauty and determination. In her short journey she touched many people and will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Harper is survived by her loving parents, Lance and Rachel Putz and her very proud big sister, Olivia; her maternal grandparents, Marlin & Connie Rosenberg, St. Ansgar; her paternal grandparents, Richard & Doris Putz, Glendale, Arizona; uncles and aunt, Josh & Anna Rosenberg and Zach Rosenberg; cousins Madelynn Rosenberg & Leighton Rosenberg; great aunt, Patricia Rosenberg, Waterloo; aunts, uncles & cousins in Arizona and California; along with many special friends, hospice staff, nurses and therapists in Phoenix, Arizona.

She is now in heaven with her great-grandfather, Don Anderson, and great-grandparents, Elmer & Pearl Rosenberg.

A Celebration of Life for Harper will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park, Phoenix, Arizona. A memorial service will be held in Iowa at a later date.
