Mrs. H.H. Turner Is Called Saturday. Following a long illness Mrs. H.H. Turner passed away at her home in Eldora Saturday morning. Funeral services were held from St. Mary’s church Monday morning, conducted by Rev. Father Murtagh. Interment was made in Eldora cemetery.
Ida Schoenborn was born at Wahepeton, North Dakota, April 21, 1891. Her father died while she was a child and the others of the family moved to New Haven, near Osage. She was confirmed in the Catholic church during childhood, and attended a sisters’ school. For five years she was connected with the millinery establishment conducted by Mrs. Baker at Iowa Falls.
She was married at St. Paul Minnesota, on Nov. 21, 1920, to Harry H. Turner, now vice-president of the Hardin County National bank. They have continuously made their home in Eldora, where she was a member of St. Mary’s church and also belonged to St. Mary’s society and the American Legion auxiliary.
Several years ago her health became impaired and for the past five years her condition was serious. Surviving are her husband and two brothers, E.J. and C.W. Schoenborn, of New Haven, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Frances Gau of St. Paul Minnesota.
