Funeral services were held Saturday, October 4, 1986, at Fred C. Dams Funeral Home in Joliet, Illinois, for Kenneth E. Parr, 61, who died on Thursday, October 2, 1986. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Joliet.

Mr. Parr was born in Osage, Iowa, the son of Isaac (Ike) and Jessie Tubbs Parr. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Parr lived in Joliet since 1951 and worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 31 yeawrs, retiring in 1981.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Kenny) Parr; one son, Terry and his wife, Janine Parr; one daughter, Patricia and her husband, Joseph L. Bick; four grandchildren; one brother, Ernest and his wife, Betty, of Arizona; two sisters, Virginia Tunn of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Betty and her husband Bill Mau of Baudette, Minnesota.
